Started in 2011 this race is a running event like no other. 4 days of camping and running and dancing and playing and drinking and everything conducive to celebrating being alive with friends.

Meet "Born to Run" legends Arnulfo Quimare and Manuel Luna. They will be signing books and photos and making sandals starting in the afternoon through evening.

They are being hosted on Wednesday by members of the Smu'wic Chumash of Santa Barbara, and the Apanish Foundation.

This is the once a year event down deep in the Copper Canyons. It's the same race mentioned in the book Born to Run and is now a real celebration of a town and of the legacy of Caballo Blanco and his local Tarahumara friends
